Your new role

This key role will oversee the running of several Children, Youth and Families programs delivered by Uniting in the Wimmera area.

We are seeking a dynamic leader to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality services across our programs. This role involves providing operational oversight, first-line supervision, and direct client support when required, ensuring all activities align with program requirements.

You will lead and mentor a dedicated team through regular supervision and by connecting them with Uniting's practice frameworks and professional development opportunities. Additionally, you will manage operational performance to meet contractual obligations, driving efficiency and value for money in program delivery.

Your skills and experience
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience delivering children and families services, including statutory care and placement programs.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing staff.
  • Ability to engage and work effectively with consumers experiencing homelessness in a respectful, compassionate and appropriate manner.
