Team Leader Youth Support

This key role will oversee the running of several Children, Youth and Families programs delivered by Uniting in the Wimmera area.

We are seeking a dynamic leader to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality services across our programs. This role involves providing operational oversight, first-line supervision, and direct client support when required, ensuring all activities align with program requirements.

You will lead and mentor a dedicated team through regular supervision and by connecting them with Uniting's practice frameworks and professional development opportunities. Additionally, you will manage operational performance to meet contractual obligations, driving efficiency and value for money in program delivery.

In addition to your base hourly rate (SCHADS Level 7) and super, you'll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits, which can be used for living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field
• Experience delivering children and families services, including statutory care and placement programs.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing staff.
• Ability to engage and work effectively with consumers experiencing homelessness in a respectful, compassionate and appropriate manner.
