We are currently recruiting for a
Solution Delivery Manager for Platform development
, to join our newly created Solution Delivery & Innovation team. The role will be based out of our Head Office in Whitley (DN14 0HR) and we offer a hybrid working pattern.

What will you be doing in this role?
As our Solution Delivery Manager for Platform Development, you will lead the planning, implementation, product management and optimisation of solution delivery across our telehealth and care services. This role is critical in ensuring that our customers – local authorities, housing providers, and private clients – receive high-quality, compliant, and integrated telecare solutions that enhance user safety, independence, and wellbeing.

In this vital role, you'll be at the intersection of technology, user experience, and service delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams to create impactful solutions for vulnerable populations and their caregivers. This role will bridge the gap between strategy and execution with the customer and user journey at its heart.

The Ideal candidate:
To be successful in this role you will have
proven experience in solution
or
service delivery leadership
or
product management
, ideally in the
telecare
,
digital health
or
healthcare technology sector
. A strong understanding of
technology-enabled care
(TEC), digital transitions (ie analogue to digital) and remote monitoring solutions is vital to the success of this role.

You will have
strong communication skills
, both verbal and written, and be able to build effective working relationships with stakeholders. With a
strong commercial awareness
and understanding of
agile development methodologies

Some of your key tasks will be…

  • Define and execute the solution delivery strategy in alignment with business goals, focusing on operational excellence and customer satisfaction,
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and tools,
  • Collaborate cross functionally and with third parties to successfully deliver product and solutions on time and within scope,
  • Prepare any governance material needed to progress NPI or update solutions,
  • Work closely with the project manager to ensure alignment and delivery goals are met,
  • Define and execute product strategies aligned with company goals and market needs in the telecare space,
  • Stay current with healthcare regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and understand the effect of utilising data,
  • Oversee product performance across its lifecycle, from concept through launch to continuous improvement,
  • Represent the voice of the customer, including vulnerable service users, caregivers and the supporting network, service providers, private payers and service commissioners to ensure our products are inclusive, accessible, and effective,
  • Manage a product backlog, write Epics, features and user stories, and prioritise features based on user needs, data insights, and business objectives,
  • Define non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, availability, scalability, security, etc) in conjunction with the wider Tunstall business,
  • Own the delivery lifecycle of complex telehealth deployments, from contract handover to go-live and early life support,
  • Ensure all implementations meet quality, compliance, and safeguarding standards,
  • Develop scalable processes and governance to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously,
  • Act as the senior delivery contact for clients and partners, managing relationships, expectations, and escalations,
  • Collaborate with technical leads to ensure smooth integration of telecare platforms with third-party systems and interoperability enablement,
  • Support solution scoping and technical feasibility during pre-sales / tenders as needed,
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies related to Tunstall's business,
  • Monitor and report on delivery KPIs, project timelines, team velocity,
  • Implement risk management and mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Key skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in solution or service delivery leadership or Product management, ideally in the telecare, digital health, or healthcare technology sector,
  • Strong understanding of technology-enabled care (TEC), digital transitions (e.g. analogue to digital), and remote monitoring solutions,
  • Track record of delivering complex multi-stakeholder projects on time and within budget,
  • Excellent and proven leadership and people management skills,
  • Strong commercial awareness,
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, including an ability to effectively communicate and influence customers and stakeholders at all levels,
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements, data privacy, and safeguarding in a care or health environment,
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management,
  • Demonstrated experience successfully delivering customer-centric products with measurable outcomes,
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of cloud-based services and/or App development,
  • Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts relevant to IoT applications and predictive care,
  • Strong analysis skills, including ability to identify and articulate market trends, the competitive landscape and customer needs.

Desirable Skills And Experience

  • Experience with UK-based public sector service delivery (e.g. local authorities, NHS, housing providers),
  • Technical background or experience with telecare platforms, digital alarm systems, or IoT health devices,
  • Experience with regulatory environments,
  • Proficiency in product management tools e.g. Lucid, Strategic Roadmaps,
  • Passion for social impact, inclusion, and improving the lives of vulnerable or aging populations.
