Are you a passionate cook looking for flexible work in a warm and supportive environment? Richmondwood Care Home is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Bank Cook to join our team on an as-needed basis, covering holidays and sickness for our regular kitchen staff.

About the Role:

As a Bank Cook, you'll play a key role in ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious, home-cooked meals every day. You'll work alongside a friendly team, helping to prepare breakfast, lunch, and evening meals that meet varied dietary needs and preferences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking well-balanced meals for residents
  • Following dietary requirements and food safety standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
  • Working alongside care staff to ensure a positive dining experience for all residents

About You:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working in a kitchen (care home or similar setting preferred)
  • Can work independently and manage time effectively
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Is flexible, reliable, and committed to high standards
