Amapianoland is a global celebration of Amapiano and Afrobeats. A movement connecting dancefloors from London to Johannesburg, New York to Lagos. Since launching, we've hosted thousands across three continents, curating events that blend music, culture, and community into one unforgettable experience.
We're now expanding our global reach and are looking for a Marketing Manager who can blend creative vision with commercial strategy, someone who understands how to grow audiences, build hype, and drive consistent ticket sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns for each Amapianoland show across the UK, U.S., and EMEA.
- Plan, launch, and optimise multi-channel campaigns (paid ads, organic social, influencer activations, and partnerships) designed to maximise ticket sales and brand engagement.
Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing
- Manage budgets efficiently
- Oversee all paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google platforms.
- Run A/B tests, monitor audience performance, and continuously refine creative and targeting strategies.
Content & Brand Development:
- Own the creative direction for social media and digital assets.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and copywriters to produce engaging, culturally resonant content that drives shares, conversations, and conversions.
Email, SMS & CRM
- Develop automated and segmented campaigns for lead generation, nurture sequences, and retargeting.
- Build and maintain email and SMS lists that convert, improving open rates, click-through rates, and overall ROI.
Sales & Conversion Optimisation
- Improve the customer journey from click to checkout.
- Identify and resolve friction points within ticketing funnels, lead forms, and landing pages.
- Drive consistent growth in conversion rate and revenue per campaign.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports, summarising key data across paid, organic, and direct channels.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies that scale future campaigns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Events, Creative, and Partnerships teams to align messaging, ensure consistent brand identity, and maximise the impact of each launch.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- You're a creative strategist who can balance data with culture.
- You understand the music and nightlife landscape, especially Amapiano, Afrobeats, and UK club culture.
- You're confident managing paid ad budgets and analysing performance metrics.
- You have experience driving sales, not just awareness.
- You're proactive, organised, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
