Admin / Accounts Assistant – Church Road, Hove
Full-Time, Office-Based – 8am to 4pm
Construction Company
We are looking for a reliable and organised Admin / Accounts Assistant to join our busy construction company. This is a full-time, office-based role with no remote working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the admin@ and accounts@ email inboxes, responding to queries or directing them to the appropriate person
- Preparing weekly wages for subcontractors using timekeeper and excel.
- Assisting with basic accounts tasks as required
- General administrative support for the office and management team
- Maintaining company records including HR and insurances
- Answering and directing phone calls professionally
- Handling emails, filing, and maintaining records
- Data entry and maintaining spreadsheets
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc duties
Requirements:
- Strong Excel skills (essential)
- Experience with Xero is advantageous
- Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) is favourable but not essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous admin or accounts experience is essential preferably in construction
Hours:
8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (office-based only)
