Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe deployment of engineering activities, complying with Carlsberg SHE, LOTO, and emergency response procedures.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-skilled engineering shift team through coaching, appraisals, and training.
  • Oversee accurate SAP CMMS reporting, spare parts management, and continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
  • Coordinate and supervise reactive and preventative maintenance, including 3rd-party contractor activity and plant shutdowns.
  • Drive shift-level continuous improvement using Lean TPM, RCA, Six Sigma, and machine reliability metrics (MTBF/MTTR).
  • Manage performance against KPIs for safety, quality, hygiene, and preventative maintenance delivery.
  • Conduct process confirmations, permit reviews, and RAMS assessments to ensure safe and efficient engineering execution.
  • Champion team recognition, capability development, and compliance with all legislative and company standards

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Proven experience managing engineering shift maintenance and planning within Brewing, Packaging, or FMCG environments
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements for Packaging and Process equipment maintenance
  • Demonstrated commitment to LeanTPM principles and continuous improvement, acting as a role model for best practices
  • High-level competencies in leadership, analytical thinking, collaboration, and decision-making under pressure
  • Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and empowering teams to drive performance and change
  • Qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in engineering, or with significant relevant experience
  • Familiarity with Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental standards and compliance
