We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Senior Business Analyst to join our team and support DHCW's migration to the Cloud.

In this role, you will deliver comprehensive analysis and provide strategic recommendations to key partners and stakeholders. Your excellent communication and organisational skills will ensure that the transition to the Cloud aligns with stakeholder expectations and broader organisational objectives .

You will be responsible for presenting complex technical concepts in a clear manner, as well as efficiently managing, tracking, and communicating the anticipated benefits of the initiative.

Leading business analysis activities for Cloud migration , underpinned by a solid understanding of DHCW strateg ies .

Applying DHCW's Benefits Realisation Framework to plan, manage, and monitor the benefits of Cloud migration.

Reviewing business processes to identify and assess financial, operational, and technological risks.

Managing stakeholder relationships with effective communication and influencing skills.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is an expert national body and part of NHS Wales. We work in partnership with NHS Wales colleagues and other key stakeholders to provide national digital and data services which support the delivery of health and social care in Wales. Modern health and care services depend on good digital tools, data and information. DHCW runs or works with more than 100 services and delivers major national digital transformation programmes to support this. In addition, DHCW provides expert advice in relation to cyber security and information governance. We give frontline staff the digital tools which help them provide safer and more efficient care. Identifies and evaluates optimal delivery methods and processes, with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement

Guides teams in visualising goals, managing workflows, and aligning efforts with MVP, priorities, and defined scope

Leads complex modelling of systems, data, and processes across varied project and programme scales, ensuring change impacts are well-managed

Conducts thorough analysis of existing business processes and policies, recommending and justifying strategic changes across multiple sectors, including healthcare

Actively contributes to the business analysis community of practice—sharing insights, developing best practices, and fostering collaboration

Mentors and coaches' fellow business analysts on selecting and applying appropriate methodologies , tools, and techniques

Supports development of the business analyst learning pathway, enhancing knowledge and skills across the community

Engages in ongoing research into emerging business analysis tools and methodologies, promoting efficient, innovative, and effective practice
