At Delt Shared Services, we don't just deliver IT solutions - we partner with our customers to transform their technology landscapes. This is your opportunity to lead, advocate, and collaborate, helping shape IT strategies and solving complex challenges with clarity and confidence.

The Opportunity

As a trusted advisor, you'll work closely with customer IT leaders to understand their goals, priorities, and strategies. By building strong relationships, you'll guide them in developing technology roadmaps that align with their objectives and prepare them for the future.

Internally, you'll be the customer's voice, ensuring we fully understand their infrastructure, applications, and aspirations. Your insights will influence Delt's own technology roadmap and ensure our solutions deliver real impact. Whether designing innovative systems or driving key changes, your contributions will help turn our customers' visions into reality.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build deep, trusted relationships with customers, acting as their advocate and technical guide.
  • Partner with customers to develop and refine their IT strategies, ensuring alignment with future trends and business needs.
  • Keep Delt aligned with customer requirements by maintaining a clear understanding of their technology stack, strategies, and objectives.
  • Lead the design of tailored solutions, working with Delt teams to create practical and impactful proposals.
  • Simplify complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for audiences at all levels, from front-line staff to C-suite leaders.

Key Skills & Competencies

We're seeking an individual with a strong technical foundation, strategic mindset, and exceptional communication skills.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles such as service delivery, program management, or architecture.
  • A holistic understanding of how different technologies interconnect and align with business goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in translating technical concepts into business value for senior leaders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Solid understanding of core technical infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 and both public and private cloud environments.

Desirable:

  • Certifications in project management or change management.
  • Experience in designing and implementing technical or service-based solutions, ideally within an IT managed service environment.
  • Expertise in workshop facilitation, problem-solving, and fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Confidence in challenging technical teams to deliver optimal results for customers.

Why Delt?

At Delt, we deliver critical IT and business support services that help our partners - including local authorities, the NHS, and schools - do what they do best. We are purpose-driven, people-centred, and proud of the impact we make.

Benefits include;

  • Up to 12 Flex Leave days a year
  • Matched contribution pension scheme up to 10% of salary
  • Life assurance scheme
  • Opportunities to buy and sell leave
  • Employee shopping savings portal

If you're passionate about connecting people with technology and thrive at the intersection of leadership, strategy, and collaboration, we'd love to hear from you
