Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that every dish meets our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as required.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting.
  • Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
  • Previous kitchen experience is highly desirable, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
