National Account Manager

A clear strategic and commercial role working with key stakeholders to drive forward the 'Total Coffee Solution' and securing successful year on year growth by developing effective relationships to maximise opportunities across all revenue streams, and all customers in UK&I.
The Role:
- Successfully manage and develop the strategic client relationship with all customers, actively growing customer networks to build future coffee and side products sales, drive machine opportunities and service delivery in existing markets.
- Deliver the volume and profit targets across all revenue streams for the account portfolio, by having a clear understanding of the main drivers of a scorecard, P&L, constantly assessing risks and opportunities.
- Proactively manage customer performance dashboards, equipment scorecard and maintenance contract to optimise machine sales and the customer experience.
- Deliver compelling Account Plans and continuously drive Customer Joint Business Plans on coffee and machines with customer centrally and at a local level. Utilising the cross functional team to support delivery of initiatives. Conducting regular commercial reviews internally and with customer group.
- Work closely with UCC sales, production, quality, operational, technical, and marketing teams across UK team.
- Work knowledgably and effectively with Finance on designated accounts to understand the coffee market, differentials, and exchange rates to develop effective strategies and recommendations for coffee and machine pricing.
- Maintaining a broad understanding of key product areas and equipment range and be able to illustrate business advantage to customers.
- Be familiar at all times with the activity and products of our competitors and use this information to formulate a sales strategy.
The Person:
- Ambitious, commercial, and resilient OOH sales professional
- Holds a solid track record of business development and account management of national accounts.
- A strategic mind-set with ability to understand, leverage and implement sales strategies to meet targets.
- Able to analyse consumer/category data, market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and inform decisions.
- Able to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously, timely and efficiently.
- Capability of leading cross-functional teams and influencing internal/external stakeholders.
- Dynamic and creative problem solver when there is no precedent/solution.
- Top quality oral/written communication skills, ability to communicate strategies at all levels.
- Enjoys working collaboratively and within a dynamic team
- Energy, enthusiasm and a "can do" attitude
- Degree/MBA in business, sales, marketing or engineering (Desirable).
Salary: Up to £49k dependent on experience, Bonus & Company Car/Car allowance.
