The LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance team provides innovative solutions that simplify complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable insights. About the Role
The Business Development Manager position creates and secures business opportunities to generate new revenue within LexisNexis.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with strategic clients and decision makers to inform prospects of our products and services.

  • Creating, monitoring and driving lead generation plans to ensure a solid pipeline of new business.

  • Conducting product demonstrations to prospective clients.

  • Having an excellent understanding of our products and the market our clients operate within.

  • Negotiating product/service terms within a specified territory.

  • Producing creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments.

  • Identifying the needs and challenges of the prospective customer.

  • Meeting monthly with Management to share success stories and discuss effective sales and business development strategies.

  • Carrying out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Have excellent Business Development or New business based sales experience

  • Be experienced and confident with prospecting and delivering customer demonstration's

  • Be a great listener, quick thinker, and the ability to work solo and as a team

  • Display solid verbal and written communication skills

  • Have great attention to detail and the ability to follow defined processes

  • Have good time management skills

  • Be able to use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.) and CRM
