Site Manager – Prime Residential

Guildford, Surrey

£45k-£60k + package

We're supporting a respected main contractor delivering the redevelopment of a private country estate in the Guildford area. The client has a solid pipeline of high value projects prime residential projects on the same estate, with individual single dwelling projects ranging from £3m–£10m.

This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, ambitious Site Manager (or an ASM ready to step up) to join a growing team and progress their career over the long term.

The Project

A major country estate development running for the next few years, starting with a £4m build cost main house before moving into further buildings and estate wide works.

The Role

You'll be the "boots on the ground" ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site. Reporting into the Senior PM and directors, you'll support delivery, liaise with subcontractors, maintain quality and help keep the project moving.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily site activities and maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • Supporting the programme and helping keep key milestones on track
  • Working closely with the commercial team and gaining exposure to QS duties
  • Ensuring H&S compliance on site (SMSTS desirable)
  • Maintaining accurate site documentation and using digital tools effectively
  • Building strong relationships with the client, subcontractors and in-house team

About You

  • Ideal for an ASM ready to take the step into full Site Management
  • Experience on high-end or complex residential projects
  • Confident, energetic and keen to grow with the business
  • Computer literate and able to demonstrate sound construction knowledge
  • Degree in Construction Management preferred, with interest in CIOB viewed positively
  • SMSTS beneficial
  • Ambitious, intelligent and capable of progressing into broader responsibilities as the estate develops
