Role Description

The Purchase Ledger role at Glazing Vision is a full-time hybrid position based in Diss, with opportunities to work from home on a part-time basis. In this role, you will manage key aspects of the purchase ledger, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers. You will liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve queries, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to process improvements to optimize purchasing operations. This role requires excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage purchase-related documentation effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and managing Purchase Orders efficiently
  • Proficiency in core Purchasing and procurement activities
  • Strong Analytical Skills to assess data, identify trends, and inform decision-making
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to communicate professionally and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in the use of sage 200 accounting and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction industry is an advantage but not essential
  • A qualification in accounting, business administration, or a related field is beneficial
