Professional Lead for Nursing – Specialist Community Paediatrics B8B

Working within Specialist Children's service in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which encompasses Community Paediatrics, CAMHS & Acute Paediatrics, you will be committed to addressing the health and wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams whose aim is to provide high quality support, assessment and interventions in line with evidence based practice and national policies/ agendas. You will have knowledge and experience of working in teams where care is coordinated and you will fully understand the impact of integrated care and services.

You will be professionally registered with NMC and have relevant experience in planning and providing person centred and outcome based care. A strong culture of support, development, CPD, reflective practice and supervision exists to maximise our patient's experience, safety and outcomes and your career progression. We are ambitious in our visioning for the future and are clear about the need to further develop integrated services that ensure that children, young people and families receive the right support, at the right time and in a way that best meets their needs. This post is to provide professional leadership to community paediatric nursing and contribute to the wider Senior management team in SCS leading on specific work aligning to our strategic priorities. This role is vital to provide quality, assurance and put patient safety at the heart of what we do. We require an individual with a proven track record in innovation and leading transformation of services or pathways. We value collaborative leadership and you will work closely with a wide range of disciplines and with service managers to deliver shared goals.
