We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Operations Manager to join our team at The Yarrow Hotel. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the hotel and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager to oversee operations focussing on front of house (reception and housekeeping teams), maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring smooth operational delivery across all departments. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Operations Manager in managing daily hotel operations
- Take part in duty management - leading guest services, supporting staff and students
- Monitor service standards and guest satisfaction
- Assist with planning and execution of Weddings, Events and Conferences
- Assist with sales and marketing
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards

About The Candidate:
As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will be confident managing teams, solving problems quickly, and maintaining high standards across all areas of the hotel.
You will have:
- Proven experience in hotel operations or a similar hospitality role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- A proactive approach with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
