At a glance
- Flexible Working: This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home (in the UK) and London Head Office / Bracknell Head Office.
However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises. Our Engineering team currently works from the office roughly twice a week to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings, but again the frequency is dependent on the business needs.
- Expected Salary: £59,500 - £92,000 (depending upon experience)
- Contract type: Permanent.
The Teams
We are recruiting for Senior Lead Analysts to join our Commercial value streams within John Lewis and Waitrose as well as a Senior Lead Analyst to join the John Lewis Customer Care transformation team.
- Our John Lewis Commercial team brings together commercial and logical supply chain capabilities. These include; buying, developing and sourcing products, planning and optimising pricing and promotions, and planning, ordering and moving stock, as well as the management of product information and supplier collaboration.
- Our Waitrose Commercial area is responsible for key commercial processes and capabilities including (but not limited to) buying, product development, range and space planning and our broader value and commercial strategies.
- The John Lewis Customer Care transformation team manages customer contact for both the John Lewis and Waitrose brands across multiple channels including phone, chat, email and messaging. The Partnership is making significant investment in improving our contact centre technology and operations to transform the customer experience and deliver greater customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Senior Lead Analyst within the Engineering profession, you will be a key leader enabling the delivery of highly complex projects across multiple work streams using comprehensively elicited and clearly defined requirements, as well as utilising methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- This role involves engaging throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial discovery and shaping to the build and implementation phases, working closely with Product Leads, Product Managers, Project Managers, Delivery Leads, Architects, and other Senior Engineers to ensure technical solutions align with business and operational objectives.
- As a Senior Lead Analyst you will be embedded within an area spanning multiple teams as well as an individual contributor within a specific workstream / team.
- As well as eliciting and managing business, technical and operational requirements across a complex domain, you will be accountable for challenging scope and priorities to ensure optimal business value, understanding end-to-end business processes, identifying cross-domain dependencies, and working with delivery teams on planning, prioritisation, and estimation.
- As a Senior Lead Analyst you will collaborate and share within the Analysis community as well as support other Analysts.
