Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in early childhood education. This role requires someone who can effectively manage staff, communicate with parents, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children. The Nursery Manager will play a crucial role in fostering the development of young children while maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to staff members.
  • Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in childcare.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource management.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.
  • Monitor children's progress and adapt programmes as necessary to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

- Level 3 qualification or above with a minimum of 3 years experience as a manager

  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

  • A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood development

  • Ability to drive initiatives that improve nursery operations and child outcomes

  • Knowledge of current best practices in childcare and early years education

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
