As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team and support a wide range of financial functions.
What you'll do
As an Accounting Trainee, you will be trained on and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of finance including general ledger management, financial reporting, project costing, compliance, and month-end processes.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone pursuing a career in accounting within a technology-focused and fast-paced industry and a desire to achieve qualification with either ACCA or CIMA.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
General Ledger & Month-End Support
- Assist in preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate GL accounts
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process
- Assist with accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Process intercompany transactions and multi-region account reconciliation
Tax Compliance & Audit
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests
- Assist with preparation of annual statutory accounts and corporate tax returns
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Reconcile and prepare returns for multiple VAT registrations
- Dealing with multiple Government tax authorities for tax compliance
Administrative & Ad Hoc Support
- Maintain financial files and documentation
- Assist with continuous improvement of finance systems and procedures
- Provide general support to the Finance team as needed
- Business partnering with the global business
