Science Technician
Are you passionate about facilitating engaging and safe science learning experiences? Our client, a well-respected secondary academy based in Bristol, is seeking a dedicated and professional Science Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vibrant educational environment and support students' scientific curiosity and achievement.
About The Role
As a Science Technician, your primary responsibility will be to prepare and support practical science lessons, ensuring a safe and well-equipped learning environment. You will work closely with teaching staff to facilitate practical experiments, maintain laboratory resources, and uphold health and safety standards across the science department.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in support staff roles with a background in science laboratories or technician support
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within school laboratories
Ability to organise and prepare equipment and materials efficiently
Supportive and professional approach to working with students and staff
Experience working within secondary school settings is desirable but not essential
Contract & recruitment information
