Medical Receptionist

Werneth Medical Practice is seeking a productive and proactive Medical Receptionist/ Administrator for their purpose-built practice in Oldham.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, has good communication skills and uses their own initiative.
Main duties of the job
Role Requirements
- Experience working as a receptionist in medical practice (preferred)
- Excellent phone manner/ Customer service skills
- Excellent patient relationship skills and the ability to be calm under pressure
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Proficient in IT
- Secretary Experience (preferred)
- Used Emis and Docman 10 (preferred)
- Training & supervision will be provided for the right individual
You will be responsible for:
- Ensure smooth running of the reception area
- Greet all visitors and be the first point of contact for any queries
- Manage all inbound communications by phone
- Diary management for any patient bookings
- Upload patient records into the database
- Registering new patients and completing necessary administrative tasks
- Action requests for information to be sent / retrieved for doctors, nurses or other clinicians, and to process prescriptions in line with policy
- Ensure premises are kept clean and tidy in between visits from the cleaning staff
- Daily Checks to ensure we are compliant with CQC
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
