Role Overview:

Badu is looking for a hands-on
Creative Media Producer

to join our team. This is a
practical, field-based role

, giving you the opportunity to capture, edit, and produce visual content that reflects authentic community stories. You will be out at events and projects, shooting photos and videos, editing content, and creating graphics to bring Badu's work to life.

This role allows you to work across sport, health, education, and innovation, turning real-life experiences into visuals that inspire, engage, and create meaningful impact. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Business Development to execute campaign briefs, co-create content, and help tell Badu's story across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

You will lead the creative execution of campaigns while producing content, including photography, videography, video editing, motion graphics, graphic design, and short-form social media content.
Strong camera skills are essential

, and you should be confident in capturing compelling visuals that reflect authentic lived experiences across communities and generations.

You will:

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos on location at Badu programmes and events.
  • Edit and produce short-form videos, motion graphics, and digital content for social media and web.
  • Design graphics and visual assets aligned with Badu's brand guidelines.
  • Support the Head of Business Development in executing campaign storytelling briefs.
  • Collaborate across teams and with community groups, youth, partner organizations, and stakeholders to ensure content delivers impact and engagement.
  • Maintain an organised digital asset library.

Essential Skills & Platforms:

  • Photography and videography (DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lighting, audio).
  • Video and photo editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro).
  • Graphic design (Canva, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Understanding of social media content formats (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Strong visual storytelling skills and ability to translate creative direction into execution.
  • Cultural competence, openness to learning, and adaptability when engaging with diverse communities.
