A highly dedicated, hard-working, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level 2) is required to join our staff team at Ravensworth Terrace, for 1 year, in the first instance.

The successful applicant will become part of a school which drives for continuous improvements in the quality of provision for the children of our community.

Governors invite applications from individuals (holding at least an NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or an equivalent qualification and at least a GCSE Grade C or equivalent in both English and mathematics) who:

  • are able to work within a team in a respectful and collaborative manner
  • are positive, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting all children to progress
  • have demonstrated consistent effective practice as a Teaching Assistant and are able to nurture children personally as well as academically
  • have high expectations of children but understand the need to for appropriate support in order for success
  • are excellent role models for children through their professional behaviour and conduct
  • demonstrate that they can meet the challenges of the varied role
  • are dedicated to the care and safeguarding of children
  • have worked with children with SEND to support their access of the curriculum
  • have first-aid training or are willing to undertake first-aid training

The successful candidate should have the skills and qualities to support children across the primary age-range.

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year, they are subject to an equated salary adjustment.
