Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in education?

We are currently recruiting Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support children across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 in a small primary school in Northumberland. This is an excellent opportunity to join supportive environment where every day is different, and your contribution truly makes a difference.

The Role:

  • Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with moderate learning difficulties and dysregulated behaviour. 
  • Assist class teachers in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive learning sessions.
  • Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

You Will Need:

  • Experience with SEN pupils in a learning environment
  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • A caring, resilient and proactive approach.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • A commitment to fulfilling a long term role.
