We are engaged with a prestigious UK-based Financial Services customer on one of the largest Cloud Infrastructure Operations, Application Management, and Cloud Engineering programs, supported by a 300+ member global delivery team operating across the UK, India, USA, and other regions.
To lead this strategic engagement, we are seeking a highly experienced Technical Delivery Manager (Senior Delivery Director) to be the overall owner of delivery, governance, and customer relationship.
Role Overview
The Technical Delivery Manager (Senior Delivery Director) will lead global delivery operations across ~20 technical service towers, ensure contractual commitments are achieved, and build a strong customer partnership. This role will directly engage with the customer's Cloud & Infrastructure Head and senior leadership, while working closely with UST UK and CIS global leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Ownership:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of Cloud Infrastructure Operations, Application Management, and Cloud Engineering services.
Ensure all SLAs, KPIs, and contractual deliverables are met across ~20 technical service towers.
Leadership & Governance:
Manage and mentor a global team of 300+ delivery professionals.
Drive governance and best practices for service management, transition, and operations.
Customer Engagement:
Serve as the primary executive contact for the customer's Cloud & Infrastructure Head.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the customer organization.
Incident & Escalation Management:
Oversee all Priority 1 and major incidents.
Ensure rapid mobilization of the right experts and provide real-time updates to customer leadership.
Transition & Talent:
Lead recruitment for senior technical leadership roles within the engagement.
Manage transitions with minimal disruption to business operations.
Business Development & Innovation:
Collaborate with UST's CIS leadership to shape delivery best practices.
Contribute to business development initiatives and customer account growth.
Stakeholder Alignment:
Partner with UST UK leadership for account governance.
- Align with CIS global leadership for strategy, innovation, and practice growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- 20+ years of IT services delivery experience with deep expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, Application Management, and Service Management.
- Proven success in leading large-scale, multi-tower global delivery engagements for top-tier Financial Services or enterprise customers.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience managing 300+ member multi-location teams.
- Expertise in service transition, governance frameworks, and incident/crisis management.
- Exceptional customer relationship and stakeholder management skills at CXO/Head-of-Infra level.
- Strategic mindset with ability to contribute to business growth and innovation.
- Based in the UK, with flexibility to collaborate with global teams.
