Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Medical Aesthetician with a strong interest in both clinical excellence and operational development to join our growing aesthetic clinic. This is an exciting dual role for an individual who is passionate about delivering advanced non-surgical treatments while also supporting the management and growth of a developing aesthetic service. The ideal candidate will be clinically skilled, commercially aware, and confident in leading from the front, ensuring a seamless patient experience and supporting the operational success of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments to the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Conduct comprehensive skin consultations and develop bespoke treatment plans aligned with patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and compliant treatment records in line with CQC and GDPR policies.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care advice to ensure optimal results and patient satisfaction.
- Champion patient safety, infection control, and treatment efficacy.
- Support the introduction and training of new treatments or technologies as the clinic expands.
Operational & Management Support:
- Assist the Clinic Director and team to oversee the day-to-day running of the aesthetic service, ensuring operational efficiency and exceptional client care.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of SOPs, compliance standards, and stock management.
- Contribute to treatment menu development and service enhancement initiatives.
- Oversee daily clinic coordination, including appointment flow and treatment room readiness.
- Support all aesthetic practitioners, diary management and the growth of the patient database
- Act as a point of support and leadership for junior or newly trained aestheticians.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Medical Aesthetician or Senior Skin Therapist.
- Proven experience delivering advanced aesthetic treatments with measurable results.
- Sound understanding of clinic compliance, infection control, and patient confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial awareness and confidence in treatment recommendations.
- Self-motivated and proactive with an interest in leadership or management.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience supporting CQC compliance or working in a CQC-registered environment.
- Confident using patient management software.
- Willingness to support marketing initiatives and treatment launches.
- A natural leader with ambition to progress into clinic management or operational roles.
Qualifications
- Level 3–4 NVQ or equivalent in Beauty Therapy / Aesthetic Practice (essential).
- Level 4–5 qualification in Advanced Skin / Laser / Aesthetic Treatments (desirable).
- CPD in advanced skin techniques or aesthetic devices preferred.
