We are looking to appoint an ambitious, dynamic Plumbing and Gas Trainer Assessor to join our team. You must be a highly skilled and motivated individual whose passion is to inspire students to excel and achieve the highest standards within the sector.
Join our award-winning Construction Training and Education Centre of Excellence (CTEC) – where industry expertise meets outstanding teaching. We're looking for an experienced and motivated leader to play a pivotal role in driving high standards across our Construction apprenticeship provision.
A plumbing and gas assessor is required to carry out workplace assessments for apprentices working towards the Plumbing and Heating standard at levels 2 & 3. This includes carrying out reviews and creating action plans for apprentices, including SMART Targets and the delivery of Functional Skills if required. The role will also include developing the College's offer in conjunction with employer partners and awarding bodies.
Suitable candidates will hold a recognised assessment qualification (TAQA, A1, V1 or equivalent). Additionally, a suitable plumbing qualification and workplace experience is essential. Being able to prepare learners for ACS and experience of environmental pathways is desirable. Knowledge and or experience of using an e-portfolio system would be beneficial. The successful candidate will have a proven track record and be confident in all aspects of workplace assessment within the plumbing and heating sector.

To comply with legislation, you are required to obtain a DBS check for your role. We will be asking Protocol National Ltd/Esafeguarding Ltd to undertake this process on our behalf.
