Buckden Partners have been mandated by a leading alternative lender specialising Real Estate Finance for residential, mixed-use and purpose-built student accommodation projects throughout England and Wales.

The successful candidate will be working on the origination desk expediting the lending process and ensuring the timely execution of transactions across the loan book.

Primary functions/ responsibilities will include:

  • Screening and evaluating new lending opportunities with a specific focus on:

  • Running internal models to assess project viability.

  • Undertaking comparable analysis.

  • Assessing creditworthiness of counterparties.

  • Preparation of credit papers to assist in pitching new lending proposals to the credit committee.

  • Analysing and scrutinising Valuation Reports and Quantity Surveying Initial Reports.
