x 2 Technical Support Engineers - North of England Area

Oemeta is a long-established German metalworking fluid manufacturer supplying high specification lubricants and services into the Global engineering industry. Oemeta UK are looking for two enterprising technical representatives to join our team to support existing and potential customers in the North of England , splitting the area into two - East and West coast M1 and M6 corridor.

This is a field-based role with training and scheduled team meetings at the Oemeta Middleton Cheney office near Banbury.

Responsibilities

Ø Manage the technical support of an existing Oemeta customer base covering a wide range of engineering industries

Ø Manage appointment diary including logging visits, lab samples and completing visit reports using an online service portal.

Ø Carry out on site analysis of Oemeta products, record results and make or advise adjustments as required

Ø Take samples to be returned to Oemeta for detailed lab analysis and then report and discuss results with customers

Ø Install and maintain fluid handling equipment

Ø Carry out on-site training with customer employees

Ø Produce and deliver customer reports

Ø Hold technical review meetings with customers

Ø Be aware of new opportunities arising for Oemeta products and services at existing customers

Ø Comply with all legislative, Oemeta and customer applicable regulations regarding quality, environmental, safety and occupational health standards to minimise risks in these areas.

Ø Gather information on potential referral business

Ø Work with the sales team to set up and monitor agreed KPI's for Oemeta product trials

Ø Clean down and refill CNC machines and fluid tanks as part of new customer product trial process.

Ø Develop and maintain a positive added value relationship with existing and prospective Oemeta customers.

Ø Develop a continuous improvement philosophy with existing customers

Requirements

Ø Self-motivated and results driven to work as part of a team or on your own at customer sites

Ø Proven work ethic and technical ability

Ø High degree of flexibility to deliver excellent and focused customer support

Ø Ability to use MS Office effectively

Ø Very effective time management and organisational skills

Ø Management and communication of own appointment diary taking into consideration efficient use of time, travel schedule, considering guidelines on customer visit frequency.

Ø Excellent communication and negotiation skills both written and spoken

Ø Enjoys working within a friendly and knowledgeable team

Ø Willing to learn technical detail both within the product range and customers own industries

Ø An open and honest approach to relationship development

Ø Willing to travel to Germany - Hamburg for initial technical training

Ø Produce management reports

Ø Smart in appearance at all times and confident in manner

Ø Strive using a variety of strategies to personally develop

25 days annual leave, increasing to 30 with service. Additional Xmas shut down to New Year.

Both roles are for immediate start. Hours of work are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility to suit customer and business demands. Company uniform will be provided.

Full driving licence required, no more than 6 points on licence.
