Pinewood.AI, a publicly traded automotive intelligence company operating in the tech and AI space, is seeking an experienced, proactive, and creative Internal Communications Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play an essential part in keeping our people across the globe informed, engaged, and connected with the company's strategic goals and culture. From shaping communication campaigns to driving employee engagement initiatives, you will help ensure our teams feel aligned and inspired.

You will be responsible for creating messaging for company-wide announcements, leadership updates, and key business milestones, including earnings results, organisational changes, and strategic initiatives. You will partner closely with executives across the business, HR, and C-Suite leaders to make sure our people feel informed, inspired, and aligned across countries and regions.

The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in corporate communications within a complex, fast-paced environment, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to translate strategy into compelling storytelling. Experience working in or with publicly traded companies is highly valued, particularly when managing sensitive communications with discretion and clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver an internal communications strategy, identifying the right tools and channels to achieve this
  • Write, edit, and distribute global communications including newsletters, intranet articles, leadership updates, and event announcements
  • Develop communication campaigns that reinforce company culture and support key business priorities
  • Plan and execute initiatives that boost employee engagement and morale, such as recognition programmes, surveys, and interactive events
  • Partner with leadership, HR, and department heads to ensure consistent messaging that supports organisational goals
  • Maintain and update the intranet (SharePoint), keeping it accurate, relevant, easy to navigate, and the central hub for global communications
  • Use a variety of digital channels and tools to deliver targeted and engaging messages
  • Gather and analyse employee feedback to measure communication effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality communications
  • Support the organisation of internal events and campaigns, providing creative ideas to encourage participation
  • Act as a trusted advisor on best practices for internal communications

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in internal communications, PR, or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex messages
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with digital communication platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, MS Dynamics, internal communications platforms including email marketing tools
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
  • A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinking skills with the ability to balance big-picture goals with day-to-day delivery
  • Creativity and an innovative mindset to engage global employees in new ways

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Experience in employee engagement strategy and initiatives
  • Knowledge of survey tools, analytics, and measurement methods for internal communications
