Siemens Mobility Limited have several teams in a central functions group called Education & Skills. We are responsible for all the technical training required by Siemens Mobility and its customers. In addition, we provide Graduate, intern and apprentice programmes to both Siemens and the rail industry via NTAR – National Training Academy for rail ). This is a partnership across several companies including government tasked with upskilling the rail industry.

Define the Future of Transportation

Embark on your journey with us whilst taking part in our fantastic intern development programme. We will create a personalised training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of your programme, you will be equipped with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to kickstart your professional career here at Siemens Mobility.

  • Working with our partners at the National Training Academy for Rail (NTAR) to develop and promote high quality apprenticeship schemes and training programmes
  • Producing winning proposals and writing business critical, tactical, and strategic documents
  • Identifying new training/learning related products for the industry
  • Keep our social media profiles updated and communicate positive stories and case studies of what we do
  • Gain an understanding of the specific business including its goals, vision, services, departments, customers, and supply chain
  • Carrying out market research and analysis and take ownership for allocated tasks and projects and complete them to the best of your ability
  • Handling administration tasks, events, and resources as well as customer service and relationship management
  • Reporting to senior stakeholders in a global company
  • Actively seek opportunities to develop skills and your knowledge in the preparation for future graduate opportunities

Essential Skills and Attributes;

We are seeking innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following;

  • Studying towards a 2:2 or above in business, marketing, Journalism, media studies, communication, economics, education, and sociology
  • Logical thinking, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
  • Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
