Overview
We are recruiting a Junior Account Manager to join our Cyber team in London

As an Account Manager you will develop positive relationships with Clients and Reinsurers for designated accounts to ensure outstanding service. You will be responsible and accountable for individual account management and coordination of placements delivered to Clients.

You will have develop a full understanding of Client's service requirements, including but not limited to; placement of the business, mid-year account servicing including premium and claims collection & settlement, mid-year projects / RFP's, all while efficiently liaising with internal / external parties.

How You'll Make An Impact
Client Relationship Management

  • Understand client's business and their (re)insurance programmes.
  • Responsible for ensuring all pre and post placement servicing is delivered and prioritised, invoiced and settled in accordance with contract terms and client's expectations, coordinating end to end process until full payment to/from all parties.
  • Forge and maintain strong working relationships with agreed Clients and Markets and improve the overall customer relationship, delivering reliable administrative support and Client service.
  • Maintaining ultimate responsibility for coordinating query resolution with the Client and ensuring effective management of queries per Client instructions.
  • Aligning with internal processes, policies, and procedures and external regulatory requirements, industry regulations, organisational policies, and Gallagher Re's professional codes.
  • Functioning as a primary contact for Client, Broker, Local Overseas Offices, Market, and Management regarding assigned accounts.

Broker Support

  • Review market security information on carriers, checking compliance and financial positions.
  • Develop and update marketing sheets for Broking Team.
  • Produce data, statistics, and information packs in support of the placement of a client's reinsurance programme.
  • Liaise with Compliance / Sanctions Team on sanctions checks where touch points exist.
  • Liaise with Legal Teams in respect to commercial contract reviews.
  • Support creation of slips / endorsements.
  • During the 'renewal process' of contracts, acting as a coordinator between our lawyers and clients in respect to pulling together all of the legal documentation (slips, commercial agreements etc).
  • Collaborating with all divisional teams, including actuarial and broking units.
  • Assisting with the tender / renewal presentations / information generation.
  • Working alongside our finance team to ensure that all payments are made to the accurate parties involved.
  • Responsible for crafting Compliance Review Packs and files that can be easily audited by our Compliance team.

About You

  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent mathematics and accounting skills.
  • Understand what makes good client service
  • Ideally the candidate will have Proportional Treaty, Non Proportional Treaty and Facilities knowledge as well as Product experience.
  • Experience with drafting wordings and endorsements is desirable.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
