About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organised and personable Dental Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. You will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic's front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
- Greet patients warmly, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Assist with patient inquiries, check-ins, and appointment bookings.
- Provide information on clinic services, procedures, and payment options.
Appointment Scheduling:
- Manage and optimise the appointment schedule efficiently.
- Coordinate with dentists and specialists to ensure seamless workflow.
- Confirm and remind patients of upcoming appointments.
Administrative Support:
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry and maintaining patient records.
Office Organization:
- Maintain a clean and well-organised reception area.
- Manage office supplies and liaise with vendors as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (dental practice experience is required).
Knowledge of dental clinic procedures, including handling patient forms, payments, and treatment coordination.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – friendly, professional, and approachable.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in dental software and office management systems (preferred).
