Location: London (Hybrid – 50% office, 50% remote)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30

Travel: Required across EMEA as needed

We're looking for a visionary Director of Store Development to lead our new store growth and portfolio strategy across the EMEA region. This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role where you'll shape the future of our store footprint and inspire teams to deliver exceptional results.

Your Mission

Drive Starbucks' success by leading the development of new stores and managing our existing and growth portfolio across EMEA including licensed and joint venture markets.

Responsible for strategic planning, execution, and leadership of a high-performing team, ensuring our store development aligns with our ambitious growth goals.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and inspire a team of 5–10 direct reports across multiple markets.
  • Develop and execute regional store development strategies aligned with our five-year growth plan.
  • Oversee site selection, design, construction, and operational turnover of new stores.
  • Manage budgets, reinvestment analysis, and portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leaders and licensee partners.
  • Champion innovation, sustainability, and customer experience in every store project.
  • Hold a seat on our regional leadership team sharing ownership of our enterprise strategy.
  • Partner with global peers to leverage best practice and share our development agenda

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience in real estate strategy, market planning, and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong background in retail construction management and project delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead remote teams and manage complex, multi-market portfolios.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication, planning, and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of retail performance analytics and customer mobility data.
  • A passion for developing people and building inclusive, high-performing teams.
