Care Team Leader

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at Mayflower Court Southampton, supporting residents living with dementia in a warm, person-centred environment. You will lead by example, ensuring high standards of care, dignity, and wellbeing are consistently upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of care staff to deliver exceptional dementia care.
- Administer medication
- Oversee daily care operations, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain individual care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Promote a safe, nurturing environment that enhances residents' quality of life.
- Monitor and record care delivery accurately, ensuring timely updates and reviews.
- Support staff development through mentoring, training, and performance feedback.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Proven leadership experience in a dementia care setting.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding best practices.
