Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee our Pharmacy warehouse operations.

This is a working supervisor position, combining leadership with hands-on involvement in daily operations.

The successful candidate will oversee the dispatch team to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time, while also stepping in to assist during busy periods. For example, you'll help unpack large deliveries, put away stock, or manage high workloads when needed.

You'll lead by example, ensuring that quality, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently met.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and team leadership. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient handling of medications, process improvements, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity within the Pharmacy

You will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating daily operations within the Pharmacy.

Duties

  • Ensuring the daily work is completed
  • Working as part of the Team to make sure the daily work is completed
  • Assisting your Team when they need support
  • Covering for them when they are absent.
  • Monitoring there work to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Reporting to the Dispensary Manager
  • Supporting management in performance monitoring and employee development to meet key business objectives and KPIs.

Key Skills

  • Lead and motivate team members across assigned shifts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager with operational duties, including planning, resource allocation and delivery schedule adherence.
  • Liaise with internal departments seamless operations.
  • Conduct regular team briefings and ensure effective written and verbal communication across shifts.
  • Ensure all picking, packing, and dispatch are performed in compliance with company quality standards
  • People management

Experience & Knowledge

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in Pharmacy

Hours Of Work

8:30AM - 6PM

Pay: £16.00 per hour
