Sales Manager – Call Centre Department (Blackburn)

Salary: £25,000 basic + uncapped bonus (OTE £40,000+)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (No weekends)

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our busy call-centre-based sales team in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking and people-focused company that values growth, teamwork, and success.

You'll manage a team of dedicated sales advisors, monitor performance, and coach individuals to achieve and exceed targets. A key part of the role will be listening to live and recorded calls, analysing performance, and implementing improvements to strengthen both conversion rates and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve departmental targets.
  • Conduct call listening sessions to identify training needs, quality issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Deliver one-to-one coaching, appraisals, and performance reviews.
  • Support senior management in achieving key KPIs and sales objectives.
  • Provide real-time coaching and support through floor-walking and feedback.
  • Use customer feedback and call data to propose and implement process enhancements.
  • Monitor performance metrics and identify trends to boost efficiency and engagement.
  • Handle staff queries and maintain a positive, high-energy work environment.
  • Attend management meetings and contribute proactive ideas to drive growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Team Leader, or Supervisor in a call centre or telesales environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales pipelines, call metrics, and KPIs.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and motivational skills.
  • Confident in analysing call recordings and identifying actionable improvements.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Ambitious with a genuine passion for driving performance and success.
