Join the Direct Insurance Team – Manchester

Are you passionate about helping people and making a real difference? Do you have a knack for sales and a drive to achieve targets? The Direct Team is looking for motivated individuals to join them in providing specialist insurance solutions to contractors, consultants, freelancers, and professionals across the oil & rail sectors.

About the Role:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to new and existing customers.
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring policies are renewed and service levels are maintained.
  • Communicate with customers via email and telephone, delivering exceptional service.
  • Work closely with underwriters to agree policy restrictions and conditions.
  • Contribute to both new business growth and renewal performance, with a structured incentive plan.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in insurance or financial services.
  • Proven track record in sales or retention.
  • Strong sales skills and ability to identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Customer-focused, confident, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy, listening, and objection-handling skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage your time effectively, and take ownership of results.
  • Understanding of conduct risk and non-advised status.
