Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic
Warehouse / Stores Person
to join our busy Warehousing Department. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and logistics functions. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient handling, picking, issuing, and dispatching of materials to meet internal and external requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries, check quantities, record and receipt materials
- Pick and pack parts accurately for customer and internal orders
- Dispatch customer orders with all required documentation
- Issue materials to jobs and maintain accurate records
- Participate in regular cycle counts and stocktaking activities
- Liaise with other departments via email and internal systems
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times
- Support and represent team values and company core values
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader
- Work collaboratively as a dependable and proactive team member
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
- Physically fit for active work in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills, including experience with systems such as Epicor or SAP
- Licences and experience with FLT (Counterbalance), pedestrian trucks, and pallet trucks
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated
Desirable:
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Any previous inspection experience is a plus
