Job Summary

My client is an expanding and award winning law firm, seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Conveyancer to join its legal team. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of autonomy and will be responsible for managing the conveyancing process from start to finish, ensuring that all legal requirements are met efficiently and accurately. This role is crucial in facilitating property transactions and providing exceptional service to clients throughout the process.

Experienced Conveyancing Solicitors, Legal Executives and Licensed Conveyancers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the conveyancing process for residential property transactions, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage agreements.
  • Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities to gather necessary information.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.
  • Negotiate terms of contracts on behalf of clients to ensure favourable outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure timely updates are provided to all relevant parties.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Proficient in legal research and understanding of property law regulations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on client service.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Proficient in using conveyancing software and other relevant technology tools.
