Sales Account Manager – New Business & Account Growth Specialist

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 basic (DOE) + Car Allowance + Quarterly Commission

OTE: £55,000+ (uncapped)

We are a leading national supplier and installer of domestic kitchen appliances to the housebuilding industry and we are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Account Manager who can both relentlessly win new business and nurture existing customer relationships to drive long-term growth.

What You'll Do

  • Drive new business with national and regional housebuilders identifying, opening, and developing opportunities and making sure we win the business over our competition.
  • Maximise quote conversion, using proactive, persistent follow-up and exceptional sales discipline to turn opportunities into wins.
  • Nurture and grow existing accounts, strengthening relationships, understanding customer needs, uncovering additional revenue streams, and securing repeat business.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure a seamless handover to internal teams for an excellent end-to-end experience.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and complete associated administrative tasks with urgency and precision.
  • Attend pre-start and progress meetings as required.
  • Support wider sales performance and business goals through additional duties as needed.

Who You Are

  • A proven sales closer with experience winning new business (experience in the housebuilding sector is beneficial but not essential).
  • A confident, persuasive negotiator who influences decisions and secures commitment.
  • Target-driven, competitive and resilient, you work hard for every opportunity and don't like losing.
  • Organised and proactive with excellent pipeline and time management skills.
  • A strong communicator with clear verbal, written and presentation abilities.
  • Customer-focused, service-driven and effective under pressure.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and digital tools.
