Industrial Cleaning Supervisor, Neway – North West, Wirral / Cheshire

Due to growing project demands, we are looking for an experienced Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to lead our site teams and ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant cleaning operations.

We have earned a reputation for completing the most challenging industrial service contracts and we continue to grow providing long term stability for our growing team.

So as an Industrial Cleaning Supervisor at Neway, what will you do?

  • You'll supervise and coordinate your teams across confined space and high-risk environments
  • Overseeing a range of projects including vessel entry, high-pressure water jetting, tank cleaning, and other critical operations
  • You'll ensure strict compliance with site-specific safety protocols and permit-to-work systems are managed and maintained
  • Conducting toolbox talks, risk assessments, and daily briefings you'll keep your team informed and understand what is happening each day
  • Liaising with clients, project managers, and our HSE team you'll maintain clear communication and performance standards
  • You'll monitor productivity, record job progress, and complete documentation needed
  • As a mentor to your operatives you will uphold a positive, safety-first working culture on site
  • Working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team you'll face some challenging environments

And what are we looking for?

  • Supervisory experience in industrial cleaning or related heavy industrial environments
  • IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • Valid WJA Certification (Water Jetting Association)
  • Confined Space – High Risk Certification (including use of full BA)
  • CCNSG Safety Passport or CSCS Card
  • Strong understanding of health & safety, risk control, and confined space operations
  • Flexibility to travel and work on different client sites across the UK

It will be great if you also have:

  • First Aid at Work
  • Knowledge of ATEX or COMAH site requirements
  • Familiarity with digital job reporting or permit systems
