Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer to join our patient-centred team at Duchy Hospital, Cornwall's only private hospital. This part-time role (15 hours per week) is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality imaging services and prioritising patient safety. You will be responsible for general X-ray and theatre duties, contributing to a flexible and responsive radiology service.

• Perform general radiographic examinations and theatre imaging duties in accordance with hospital protocols and standards.
• Ensure patient safety, dignity, and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Participate in the out-of-hours and weekend on-call rota.
• Support the department's transition towards seven-day working.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to clinical audits.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Adhere to radiation protection guidelines and maintain equipment safety checks.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold Ramsay's values.

• Degree or Diploma in Radiography
• HCPC registration
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the business
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to participate in the on-call rota

• Part Time: 15 hours per week
• Department currently operates: 8am – 6pm (subject to future extension)
• Participation in out-of-hours and weekend on-call rota is expected
• Moving towards seven-day working
