VP – Private Credit (Global Investment Platform)
We're supporting a leading global private credit platform in the build-out of its European team. This is a rare opportunity for a high-performing Junior VP to join a fast-growing investor with a broad, flexible mandate and a track record of backing Europe's most sophisticated private equity sponsors.
The team invests across the entire capital structure; senior, unitranche, junior, subordinated and holdco; with access to deep, scalable capital and additional reach through a strategic joint venture too.
The platform focuses on mid to large-cap sponsor-led transactions across Europe, with an active pipeline and high deal velocity.
What you'll do:
• Lead day-to-day execution on complex private credit transactions, from diligence to structuring to investment papers
• Interact directly with sponsors, management teams and internal IC stakeholders
• Work across a diverse set of situations, including new money, refinancings, add-ons, recapitalisations and bespoke capital solutions
• Contribute to portfolio management on high-quality European credits
What we're looking for:
• A strong executer with proven experience in Leveraged Finance, Private Credit, Special Situations, Direct Lending or Financial Restructuring
• Exceptional modelling, diligence and process leadership skills
• Experience with sponsor-led transactions and cross-border deal dynamics
• Commercial judgement, pace, and the ability to operate in a lean, high-performing team
