A leading European private credit platform is seeking to appoint a
Vice President
to join its
London-based direct lending team
, focused on providing flexible capital solutions to mid-market businesses across Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and technically strong investment professional to play a key role in the origination, execution, and ongoing management of private debt transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end execution of private credit investments, including origination, due diligence, financial analysis, structuring, and documentation
  • Lead credit analysis and underwriting processes, preparing high-quality investment committee materials
  • Conduct and coordinate detailed due diligence across financial, commercial, legal, and operational workstreams
  • Negotiate key terms and documentation with sponsors, advisors, and legal counsel
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and contribute to ongoing value creation initiatives
  • Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with sponsors, advisors, and other market participants

Candidate Profile:

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in
    private credit
    ,
    leveraged finance
    , or
    debt advisory
    within a leading investment platform, bank, or advisory firm
  • Strong credit and technical skillset, including financial modelling, debt structuring, and risk analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions
  • Familiarity with the European mid-market landscape
  • European languages (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Italian) are advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with sound judgment, commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
