Pro Staffing — a newly CQC-accredited healthcare staffing provider — is entering a growth phase and seeking an ambitious Operational Head to drive excellence, scale operations, and lead client and commercial strategy.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal senior role shaping the future of a rapidly expanding healthcare staffing business supplying care workers, support staff, and clinical professionals across regulated services and NHS environments.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading daily operations, ensuring compliance, managing healthcare workforce delivery, and driving commercial success.

This is both an operational and client-facing leadership role — ideal for someone who thrives on building systems, leading teams, strengthening compliance, and driving new business opportunities.

You will work closely with the Leadership Team to scale the business, develop strong partnerships, engage with NHS and local authority stakeholders, and enhance Pro Staffing's market presence

What You'll Be Doing

Lead day-to-day operational management of the healthcare staffing division

Build and optimise processes, SOPs, and quality frameworks

Ensure CQC compliance and audit readiness

Lead client engagement — including NHS & CQC-regulated providers

Support new business conversations, bids, and tenders

Oversee workforce deployment and candidate pipelines

Support recruitment of care and clinical staff

Work closely with marketing to support brand growth and candidate attraction

Provide performance reporting and operational dashboards to leadership

Drive a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Experience & Knowledge

  • Senior operations leadership experience in healthcare staffing, social care, or NHS workforce services
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulation & quality standards
  • Excellent knowledge of NHS systems & decision-making processes
  • Track record supporting public-sector tenders/procurement
  • Hands-on experience recruiting and managing healthcare workforces
  • Experience partnering with marketing to support growth

  • Strong communicator capable of engaging NHS and commissioning bodies
  • Commercially astute with experience driving revenue and profitability
