We are hired by some of the biggest companies in the world to combine rigorous economic modelling and polling with compelling narratives, and our impact reports have been published in almost every global market. Our work is read by key policy makers and journalists. They are a critical way in which our clients communicate what they do, why it matters, and the opportunities and policy questions for technology and society.
You can find many of our international impact reports on our website
THE ROLEWe are looking to hire a new Director who will sit in our Economics practice, and supervise all our modelling work that focuses on the impact of technology.
That means exploring some of the biggest questions of today:
- How AI will reshape our economies and societies – and what we need to do to prepare
- How the media landscape is evolving in an Internet first era
- The wider impacts of the gig economy on work, retail and restaurants
- Supervise the modelling on all tech related projects.
- Help devise new models and own the updating of our current core models.
- Be a primary point of contact with our clients to help answer their questions and explain our methodologies to them.
- Work closely with our Tech, Media and Telecoms team on the draft of policing and impact reports.
- Act as an in‑house expert on the economic, societal and technological implications of AI for clients and colleagues.
- Support the management and training of junior colleagues.
- Support new business development by spotting opportunities and contributing to proposals.
- Extensive experience modelling the impact of new technologies.
- Subject‑matter expertise in technology, AI and its economic and social impact.
- Strong written communication skills – able to communicate to a non expert audience
- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced consultancy environments and juggling multiple priorities.
Please apply even if you don't tick every box. But please don't apply unless you tick a lot of the boxes
