The Role
We are seeking an exceptional Principal Engineer specializing in Agentic Systems to join our brand new dynamic team. As a senior technical leader in our engineering organisation, you will drive the strategic direction for autonomous agent systems at enterprise scale. You will lead moonshot agent projects that will fundamentally transform the future of work, while ensuring these systems meet the rigorous demands of enterprise deployment including scale, security, and compliance.
Our mission will be to build sophisticated agents capable of navigating complex software environments, orchestrating multi-agent workflows, and making intelligent decisions to solve real-world problems autonomously—all while maintaining enterprise-grade reliability and security.
Define and lead the technical strategy for production-scale intelligent agents capable of sophisticated navigation across diverse software platforms (e.g., Web UIs, Internal Sandboxes, Development Environments) while maintaining enterprise security boundaries
Own the Security Strategy for autonomous agents
Architect and implement distributed multi-agent orchestration systems at scale in enterprise production environments
Establish comprehensive security frameworks for agent operations including sandboxing, permission models, audit trails, and compliance with enterprise standards
Contribute as a technical leader to the scalable system architecture that supports complex agent interactions, real-time decision-making, and high-throughput backend services. In addition, build robust monitoring, observability, and governance systems for agent behavior
Lead cutting-edge R&D in agentic systems, exploring novel approaches to agent trust models, explainability, and human-in-the-loop architectures at scale
Mentor multiple engineering teams and collaborate with enterprise architects from client organizations to align agent capabilities with business objectives
Required Qualifications
Principal-Level software engineering experience with a heavy focus on backend systems
Proven track record of building and scaling agent orchestration frameworks in production environments.
Strong software engineering fundamentals and advanced proficiency in Python and modern system programming languages.
Deep expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining Security, Credential Management, and Secrets Distribution Systems (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, or custom solutions).
Deep knowledge of technologies such as Model Control Protocol (MCP), Browser Agents, Sandbox Agents, and Computer Use Agents with their enterprise deployment considerations
Strong background in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure) and modern infrastructure patterns at scale
Demonstrated ability to architect and solve ambiguous, large-scale security and infrastructure problems and mentor other engineers.
Experience with building agents and agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, custom frameworks) is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with the Salesforce platform and Agentforce ecosystem.
Familiarity with the security challenges specific to large language models (LLMs) and agentic systems.
