Our client is building the imaging systems behind future AR/VR and smart-glasses products. We're hiring a senior engineer to develop the C++ simulation and imaging tools used to explore new camera architectures.

What you'll do

  • Build
    C++ imaging and simulation software
    used by camera/optics teams.
  • Translate prototype
    MATLAB/Python models
    into production-quality C++.
  • Work with optics, image quality and graphics teams on the full pipeline.

Must Have Skills

  • Proven
    camera development experience with lenses, sensors or ISP/pipelines.
  • Strong
    image design and image quality
    background.
  • 8+ years building complex C++ software, i
    deally in imaging/simulation.

Nice to have

  • Experience
    taking prototypes into C++.
  • Understanding of lens modelling, calibration or camera metrology.

The Offer

  • Annual Salary up to
    £125,000 doe and location
  • 12-month PAYE contract, inside IR35.
  • Fully remote in the UK - to be considered must hold UK work authorisation (no sponsorship, and cannot work abroad)
