Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact in your community? We are looking for a Youth Support Worker Apprentice to join our Student Engagement and Enrichment team. This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Youth Support Worker Apprenticeship while helping to embed youth social action across our colleges.
In this role, you will empower students to take part in meaningful social action projects, develop their confidence and skills, and build strong partnerships with local organisations. You'll play a key part in raising awareness of youth social action and creating opportunities that make a real difference.
Essential Criteria
- Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and use problem-solving skills.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and social media.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Passion for creating opportunities in Youth Social Action and developing young people.
- Motivated to learn and committed to personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete an 18-month Level 3 Youth Support Worker Apprenticeship plus a 3-month End Point Assessment.
- Raise awareness of youth social action and embed it into college culture.
- Coordinate and manage student-led social action activities in collaboration with local and national organisations.
- Empower students to address local issues and create opportunities for meaningful work experience.
- Build partnerships with community groups, charities, and employers to support sustainability.

The LET's Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
