ESG Analyst/ Junior Consultant

Our ESG team has experienced significant growth in recent years, and we have participated in a variety of ESG Strategy and ESG due diligence projects worldwide. Our clients are a broad range of financial institutions across many sectors, with a strong reputation in the infrastructure and mid- to small-cap private equity sectors. Our projects allow us to work collaboratively on topics that are constantly evolving and to present innovative solutions to our clients.

Our services include:

• Development of ESG strategies for a range of financial institutions and corporate entities globally.
• ESG due diligence assessments for large projects worldwide.
• Implementation of ESG monitoring programs worldwide.
• Execution of ESG and climate change due diligence assessments for a variety of clients, including development banks, infrastructure funds, and private equity (including several high-profile infrastructure projects).
• Carbon footprint assessments and net-zero strategy plans.

However, at Ensphere we offer many other services. These include sustainability reports for planning, BREEAM, LEED, and EDGE certification services, socio-economic impact assessments, energy modelling, energy efficiency, and wider climate change services.

What are we looking for?

• Applicants will hold at least one degree in a relevant discipline (environmental engineering, management and/or law, climate change, etc);
• An understanding of ESGs, SDGs and climate risk;
• Previous work experience (including internships) is an advantage but not essential;
• General awareness of environmental issues associated with business and infrastructure - e.g. EIA, waste, noise, flooding, air quality, energy, carbon emissions etc.
• General awareness of the social implications associated with business and infrastructure (e.g. health and safety, displacement, gender diversity and inclusion, etc);
• Proven analytical skills and data management;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• IT skills, including Microsoft Office;
• Due to the international nature of our work, language skills are extremely desirable;
• Self-starter, should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
